Who we are

Richard Lamb and Associates provides specialist services and skills in the area of visual impacts in urban and rural areas, strategic planning relating to scenic and visual quality control and professional advice and services relating to view loss, view sharing,heritage items, places and landscapes.

We are specialists in view loss and view sharing analysis and assessment and in the application of relevant planning principles to determining the merits of applications.

If you may cause or are concerned about others having effects on the visual, heritage or landscape environment then you need our skills and expertise.

What we do

We act as independent consultants to private clients, property developers, government agencies, local councils, architects, town planners and others, providing services including pre-design and pre-DA advice on projects.

We provide assistance with development applications, environmental, visual and heritage impact assessments, advice  and expert testimony to the Land and Environment Court of NSW and Planning and Environment Court of Queensland.

We advise and assist with strategic planning services such as local and regional environmental studies of scenic and heritage resources, planning proposals, rezoning applications, structure plans, Concept Master Plans, Development Control Plans and policies for management of the visual environment.
